Re: Platt Bridge
It is across from the top of Lily Lane. The road the bus is on is Templeton Road, which we called the 'Tram Lines'.
The trolly bus is park directly across the road in this modern view.
As a side story, the buildings to the left of the bus as we look at the image are public toilets... the very same ones tram and trolley bus drivers used to use before the return trip.... giving rise to the nickname... 'Platt Wazz'. They just had time to nip for a wazz before setting out again.

Re: Platt Bridge
The pub on the left used to have Edwardian mucky pics of women on the walls inside, I wonder if they were of locals taken at that period in time

So could the birds above the tram be … Platt Brids.
Really enjoying this thread. I’ve been through Platt Bridge many times but know little of its not-that-distant history.

Little Fifteen on Wallgate has old fashioned risqué pics on its walls too.

Re: Platt Bridge
I’ve walked past that building with no idea there was once a railway station there, thanks, Cadfael.
