There’s an upcoming talk about the Crawford Family at the Museum of Wigan Life

Crawford Family by Ripton Lindsay
Thursday 5th March, 1pm - 2pm (£3)

This engaging and informative talk will explore the life of Alexander Lindsay, 23rd Earl of Crawford. Starting with his childhood at the Balcarres Estate (the family’s Scotland home) you will be taken on a journey through his military career, his governorship of Jamaica, the role he played in the Second Maroon Revolution as well as his life in Wigan.
