We went in last year..some thugs had pulled the front door down,there was hardly any roof left,it was about two inch in pigeon poo..it reeked terrible..had to soaked my trainers before I could wash them,there's steel doors on now.its such a shame,all my childhood belonged in that church,my Mam and Dad Grandparents too were married there,I was baptized there,sang in the choir,I could go on and on,but there's so much to identify with St Josephs,it's just been left to rot,which is all wrong..very sad.

Sad indeed Maureen , like you all my history is in there ,
grandparents, parents , schooling , first communion and
confirmation , even a spell as an alter boy 1958/59 , i
dont think i could look inside if i tried now
