Name your favourite seaside place as a child...

...mine was Southport. I loved catching the bus to Wallgate station with my parents and younger brother. The thrill of the open countryside across to Southport was as much pleasure as the resort itself.

Ahhh...simpler times...

Blackpool for moi,my Dad used to work at Fina Products Cleveleys ( they made ice cream) so used to go swimming in the sea a lot..happy memories.

Blackpool probably, I used to like New Brighton as well, it was a bit of an adventure going there on the bus, train and traipse across Liverpool for the ferry.

Arnside - still one of my fave places.

I liked variety!

I had a relative who had a boarding house in Blackpool so we stayed there each year then
started going to the Isle of Man -very expensive there now.
