He was also landlord of the Bush in Higher Ince. I'm not sure about the wheatsheaf. Perhaps someone else knows

Looking at those old buildings...What would our town be like if they had ALL been kept and renovated, as in other English towns?

There are a lot of lovely buildings in and around Wigan. The swan and railway greets you as you come out of Wigan North western station
