Roasties in the slow cooker Empty Roasties in the slow cooker

"I parboiled potatoes for 10 mins then steam dried. While they were cooling down slightly I added a few glugs of mild olive oil to the slow cooker and put it on high so the oil would be hot when adding the potatoes

"I added a shake of flour, salt, pepper, onion granules and sage to the potatoes and shook them a bit. Put them into the hot oil, tossed to coat then had them on high for four hours with a tea towel under the lid, turning twice in between!"

Testing this out today
I'm not using "flour" replaced it with dry semolina. I do this when using an oven.
