I've never noticed a highlighted letter before Lolly, is that where I've been losing points?
The words I posted today would normally have produced a higher score than 237.
I did wonder whether using the central letter more than once would give more points.
I'll look out for that tomorrow, thanks

The highlighted letter changes and is usually highlighted in yellow.

No, I didn’t
The central letter that you have to use for each word, lights up when you have submitted your ‘enter’, but that’s all I saw
I’ll look again tomorrow.
The problem I have with doing the words straight into the site is that I do them beforehand on a Word document.
I type the letters that appear in the Blossom page, then type the words as I suss them out.
So my words are pre done and I can’t know what letters are extra points.
I just aim for the longest words I can do.

Unless the highlighted letters of different colours that you see as your entered word goes in is what you mean.

the highlighted letter in yellow is worth 5 points so the more you use that letter in your word the higher the score. This is from an old game, but it changes from word to word

It was as I thought, the yellow letter in the centre of the circle of letters gives you more points the more you use it, also it changes with each new |Blossom puzzle.
