Another home game on Saturday and we have two or three games in hand over the clubs around us, so things are looking good at the moment

Soz, missed this last night Admin.
They were playing a lower end of the table side, so although it wasn’t a bad result, they really could have done with a win.
It leaves Bolton 3 points behind Derby with two games to play to win an automatic promotion to the Championship.
Unless Derby lose one game and Bolton win two games with high scores to raise their GD then it looks like we will be in the play offs for promotion.
On a better note City have just equalised against Bayern so if it stays like that, they will go through on away goals, will there be extra time?,

At the moment they are playing extra time...here's hoping....

Also wishing our Bowton lads well. I would like to see them promoted...............

Shame... Real Madrid win 4-3 on penalties

What an awful result Admin and a dreadful way to lose it on penalties.
I really thought the away goals rule applied, but obviously different rules for different competitions.

Yes, it is an awful way to lose....for any team..it sounded like a couple of thrilling games. Pity I couldn't watch either of them.

One advantage of finishing at the top of the play off places is you get drawn with the club 4 places below you, and Barnsley only just scraped in the play offs with a draw on the final day of play.

Only just phew.
I confess to not watching the score when Barnsley went ahead, but Bolton held on to win on aggregate.
It was justice to avenge their defeat by Barnsley at this stage in the play offs last season.
They will face either Oxford United or Peterborough United for a place in the Championship on Saturday, 18 May.
