Burning wood, coal or waste in homes and gardens - what are your views?

Thanks, Lolly, it’s an issue for me, too. I wonder what went awry?

I think there’s to be a research meeting in Hindley about the issues:

I can’t find anything online about the meeting, so it seems to learn more you have to complete the survey and then give your contact details.

Pics from facebook need to be downloaded to a computer, otherwise after time they will disappear. Plus on the down side if people don't use facebook then sometimes they wont see a link if its a private FB set up. Hopefully we sorted it between us.

I went off to google types of wood to use in a wood burning stove, and was surprised to find that burning paper wasn't a good idea Shocked I used to make brickettes from old newspapers.

Thanks, Lolly.

I’m not a Facebook member myself so any links I post should be visible to all, and I’d saved the Facebook pic to my iPad in order to post it here. My latest post had no problems, but I didn’t have to go through the anti-spam filter first, whereas I did with the initial post. Could that be causing an issue? scratch

I suppose it depends om how many people burn these products. It's big sky so if only a few people burn them it should be alright as most have central heating now. I have to say that I love a real fire in the winter and also used to burn piles of leaves in the late autumn outdoors.
