Holidays
I fancy somewhere warm, had thought about visiting friends in Africa, but I recon somewhere closer to home might suit. Any suggestions?
Has anyone done an all inclusive?

Re: Holidays
You could try the Dominican Republic. My daughter is going there next week after a Lo-o-o-o-ng Canadian Winter in Ontario.
I believe most of us go to Spain for warmth.
Enjoy anyway....

All inclusive in my World means rambling off somewhere in the Moho. Otherwise, a friend did one in Cuba, and recommends it highly.

I'd not given Cuba a thought. Spain I'm not too sure it reminds me of that comedy programme that was on tv not long ago where everyone is sat round the pool

I am currently in Tenerife until mid April to escape the snow back home. I have been to lots of all inclusives in Mexico and once to Jamaica which were very good. I never think of all inclusive in Tenerife because there are so many good restaurants and watering holes and the prices are very reasonable.

Take your pick...
The Different Categories of British Virgin Islands Rum
Several types of rum are produced in the British Virgin Islands, each with its own characteristics and unique style. Here are the main categories you can explore:
White Rum: This is a young rum, usually aged for only a few months, and hasn't been aged in oak barrels or very little. It offers fresh and fruity aromas, ideal for cocktails.
Amber Rum: This rum has spent some time in oak barrels, giving it an amber color and more complex aromas, with notes of vanilla, caramel, and dried fruits. It can be enjoyed neat or in cocktails.
Aged Rum: This is a rum that has aged for several years in oak barrels, offering a rich and deep aromatic palette, with notes of wood, spices, and candied fruits. It's a sipping rum, meant to be savored slowly and in moderation.

Pussers did a promotion at the Maritime Festival. A tot came in a mug similar to this for £5, ours was all blue. Hubby took it with him when he crossed over the bar. That's Alfred Lord Tennyson' poem nowt to do with a pub bar

Tenerife will be OK, but you might have to take your own water with you Link
