Common Ground Ince Cemetery

Does anyone know if there are records kept of who was buried in the common ground.

Lolly, Mrs RMJ uses the cemetery records for her family history searches,
Apparently Hindley Cemetery records do show common ground burials listed, Ince Cemetery common ground burials can be found by typing in the person you are looking for.
Local cemetery records are available on Wigan World, go to ‘HOME’, ‘STUFF’ ‘Ince Cemetery Index’.
Mrs RMJ has said if you need any help just ask.

Wow! thanks to Mrs rmj I found the person I'm looking for, along with 21 other people.
From that I can work out the date of birth, and continue my search. Ta

I am assuming that you would prefer free websites.

The best free website for BMD’s from the year dot and up to date, is ‘Family Search.org’.
This is a worldwide resource but for best results you will need to create an account, but it is free to join.

Post 1837 there is a website, again free :-
‘FreeBMD’, this is UK only, but you do not need to create an account.

There is also the GRO, but this site only does births and deaths.
A log in is necessary for this site, but again it’s free.

It may be that Wolverhampton have their own Family History resources, but I’m not familiar with that.

Thanks for the info Mrs RMJ I did a search using free freebmd but found nothing. There was no Woverhampton on the lists of places, so had a stab at the nearest ones, ie Solihull, still didn't get a result. Will try the others when I get time. Once again thanks
