That is a very good answer, and it does work for some of the clues, but not all.
You are on the right lines.

It's obvious now. I think I was reading too much into it.

Just to be honest with you, I test these questions out on Mrs RMJ before I post them on here, just to get a feel for their degree of hardness, I e-mailed her tonight's quiz this morning and she hasn't solved it yet, to be fair to her, I didn't give her any clues.
Also she enjoys doing them.
