Wigan History Festival
Friday 26th + Saturday 27th April
Wigan Parish Church
Organised by Mervyn Reeves, the festival will celebrate more than a thousand years of Wigan history, with a temporary pop-up cinema and a lecture theatre, along with exhibitions and displays. The event will be officially opened by the Mayor of Wigan on Friday, 26th April at 11am.

I seem to remember you posting about a stained glass window jo anne. Was it the one from blue coats school? I cant remember

Yes, I did once mention the stained glass window in the Bluecoats School building, Lolly, it’s of The Good Samaritan. I used to admire it when I saw it in the interval of the Acoustic Roots gigs which used to be held in the parish church. (They were fantastic!)
