Proms in the park 2024

I wonder what you get for buying the £400 ticket ?

I mean OK Tyldesley Brass Band are playing, but what about the Pemberton Old Brass Band, and have we not got an Orchestra in a Metropolitan Borough the size of Wigan Metro ?

There seem to be a few Youth Orchestra's in Wigan, but how about having a Wigan Philharmonic Orchestra or a Wigan Symphony Orchestra, in Manchester you have the Hallé Orchestra, could Wigan not have an equivalent Orchestra, but we do have a Wigan version of André Rieu and his Orchestra, they could hold a Viennese Concert in the grounds of the newly renovated Haigh Hall, with the tastefully lit Hall as a backdrop, or they could play at the Proms in the Park, Proms in the Mesnes Park LINK
